We’re not hearing about this as much as we should. A famine sweeping several nations of Africa, putting the lives of millions at risk. Around 20 million people are on the verge of starvation. Where is Live Aid when you need it?
It’s not impossible to cover. There was round the clock coverage back in the We Are the World days of the Ethiopian famine. I was just shocked to see how widespread the famine is, and how little I’ve heard of it. Especially since the UN is calling it the worst humanitarian crisis since WWII.
Obviously something that needs more coverage and mainstream attention than its getting.
