The thing about modern liberalism

It tends to eat its own.  So suddenly Ellen DeGeneres, one of the cultural promoters of the modern Left, is in some hot water for a tweet.  Yeah, a tweet.  Racist?  I guess.  In our day and age, everything is racism.  It is everywhere.  It is everything.  It surrounds us, penetrates us, binds the country together.   And in such an environment, you can bet your bottom dollar that you’re going to be pinged with the ‘Racist’ label sooner or later.  Just as you ran a good risk of being labeled of Communist in the 50s, today it’s racism to the fore.
