Have I mentioned I don’t trust the media?

Here is why.  The catch is here, the article containing the original story as I saw it on CNN.  That’s deliberate editing.  Can you imagine if a white woman said the exact same thing?  Do you really – and I mean really – believe that CNN would have edited out the disturbing elements of her rant, of calling for violence and burning in other neighborhoods?   If you do, you have more blind faith than I can muster.

This doesn’t mean I believe there are no honest journalists out there.  It means that, on the whole, national news agencies have a nasty habit of being caught selectively covering stories or editing stories that always seem to conform to the biases they are accused of having.
