Of course. If anyone follows the actual events, you know that from the beginning the GOP said there were elements of Obamacare that would be kept. Even if they repealed it, they realized there were popular, and just, provisions they would work into an alternative. Among these were the preexisting provision and the opportunity to insure children for longer than before. That has been said countless times over the years. That Trump is saying he will do this sounds a lot like he is listening to the GOP rather than those who think Republicans opposed Obamacare because they really hate poor people and want them to die. Now if Trump keeps the mandate, or the essential structure that is seeing its premiums rise in breathtaking leaps and bounds, then that will be a story. Right not, it sounds like Trump has listened to the likes of Ryan and other Republicans. Which, for those who are seeing this as Trump revealing his liberal self or Republicans saddened that more people won’t die, apparently haven’t done for some time.
