Donald Trump is still refusing to accept any responsibility for the violence at his events and has taken to blaming others. Now, Trump is calling on his own supporters to disrupt Sanders rallies and even using language that was vague enough to be threatening.
Yesterday, Trump called Bernie Sanders a “communist” and suggesting he urged his supporters to organize the protest in Chicago.“All of a sudden a planned attack just came out of nowhere,” Trump said at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, Saturday morning, calling the protest leaders “professional people”.
He then said his own supporters “were taunted, they were harassed by these other people, these other people by the way, some represented Bernie, our communist friend.”
“Now really Bernie should tell his people…he should really get up and say to his people ‘stop, stop,’” he said.
Of course, Sanders has said, and rightfully so, that he had nothing to do with organizing the protests against Trump. Though it seems like Trump can’t seem to fathom the fact that his own hate speech could inspire thousands to turn out and speak out against it.
