About Me

Rob Dalrymple and his wife Toni have 4 fabulous children, as well as 2 grandchildren! He has been teaching and pastoring for over 33 years at colleges, seminaries, and the local church. He has a PhD (Westminster Theological Seminary) in biblical interpretation.

Rob is currently serving as the Executive Director of Determinetruth ministries, which is a 501c3 parachurch ministry whose vision is to challenge the Church to be the Church.

Rob has served as a lead pastor, as the Dean and Professor of NT at Koinonia Graduate School of Theology, as a teaching fellow at Westminster Theological Seminary, and as an Adjunct Professor of New Testament and Biblical Greek at Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, Pa, and as the Professor of NT and biblical interpretation at the Flourish Institute of Theology.  He has also taught and lectured at conferences and seminaries around the world.

His books include: Follow the Lamb: A Guide to Reading, Understanding, and Applying the Book of Revelation (Weaver Books, 2017), Understanding the New Testament and the End Times: Why it Matters (Wipf and Stock, reprint 2018; previously published as Understanding Eschatology: Why it Matters, 2017), These Brothers of Mine: A Biblical Theology of Land and Family and a Response to Christian Zionism (Wipf and Stock, 2015), and Revelation and the Two Witnesses (Wipf and Stock, 2011). He is also a contributor to the Baker Illustrated Bible Dictionary and author of numerous scholarly articles and reviews.

Rob is currently writing a commentary on the book of Revelation titled: “Revelation: a Love Story” with Cascade Books (2023).

In addition, Rob is on the board of directors of Evangelicals 4 Justice, and the leadership team at the Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East (NEME). He serves as a co-chair for the program unit, “Scripture, Hermeneutics and the Middle” at the Institute for Biblical Research (IBR). He is also a consulting editor for the online journal Sacrum Testamentum.

He loves to spend time with his wife Toni and their four children, three daughters-in-law, and their grandchildren. He has been involved in managing his kids’ little league and AAU baseball teams, coaching their youth soccer teams, and in their junior golf. He enjoys reading and studying the Word of God. And, as a native New Englander, he loves cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins, and most anything that comes out of Boston. Rob is also an avid golfer.
