It seems like every time we open up a magazine or turn on the news, there’s an announcement about another celebrity divorce. Famous couples seem to have to work even harder than the rest of us to make a marriage last, but there are some famous couples who seem to be doing it well. I want to highlight some of these famous marriages, because I think we can learn something from each of them.
As a disclaimer, I don’t personally know any of these celebrities, so I’m NOT an expert on these people or their marriages. I’m not making a blanket statement that all of these couples are doing everything right. I’m simply saying that they’re clearly doing SOMETHING right. Plus, with all the news around celebrity divorces, I thought it would be a nice change of pace to celebrate the couples who are making their marriage a priority.

1.Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Married since 1988, Tom and Rita are one of the most iconic Hollywood couples. While other celebrities are trading spouses more often than they trade in their cars, this couple has raised a family, worked together on numerous projects (like Producing “My Big Fat Greek Wedding“) and they’ve remained best friends for the last three decades. Despite countless trips down the red carpet, one of the secrets to their success is in keeping their private life largely private and making time together a huge priority.
