Reisman’s Ridiculous Predictions

Reisman’s Ridiculous Predictions May 22, 2009

Judith Reisman is the Worldnutdaily’s favorite source to quote. They call her a “renowned expert” rather than the far more accurate “complete whackjob wingnut.” Now they’re quoting her about how the hate crimes bill will lead to dogs and cats living together and Christians being arrested:

A renowned expert on the life and work of sex scientist Alfred Kinsey, widely considered the “father of the sexual revolution,” says the “hate crimes” bill pending in Congress would be just another step in the conversion of the United States into a nation without sexual limits, where polygamy, incest and worse are common practice.

Judith Reisman says it would be a nation in which those who hold religious views that do not approve of homosexual behavior and the myriad other sexual lifestyles would be censored and arrested.

I’m beginning to think there may be something to her idea of erototoxins, those mythical little chemicals that only Reisman can see that are released in the brain when one views pornography and that rot the brain. She’s viewed lots and lots of pornography and her brain clearly isn’t doing very well.

And the Worldnutdaily then throws in a baldfaced lie just for fun:

Essentially the plan would apply additional federal criminal penalties on people who either attack those in the specially protected sexual classes, say something that offends them or are accused of saying something that offends.

An absolute lie. The bill has absolutely nothing to do with hate speech, an entirely different thing (and if it did, I would be the first one to oppose the bill). A crime must be committed first before the motive for the crime can be considered during sentencing (and only certain crimes at that).
