Hilarious Quote of the Day

Hilarious Quote of the Day December 14, 2011

From the “you can’t make this shit up” department, here’s Victoria Jackson on Fox and Friends:

Very few people in America are informed and educated as I am.

Come on, you’re making this too easy.

If she wants to be taken seriously as an educated and well-informed commentator, she might want to consider dressing and talking like an adult.

Seriously, she’s over fifty. What is with the giant bows and the little girl talk? It was annoying back in the 80s. Now it’s just sad.

For the record, about 40% of Americans achieve at least the same level of education Jackson has (bachelors degree). So, not just amusingly arrogant, but innumerate too.

  • Wouldn’t being educated and informed make her one of them thar elitists?*

    * Not that she actually is educated, and her information is all wrong.

Like this: “God invented it (marriage).”

  • jamessweet

    Nice. That made me smile.

  • D. C. Sessions

Well, Ed, it’s true. Perhaps not in the way she means it, but true.

  • ubermalark

Fortunately not everyone who gets a bachelor’s degree will speak with such breathtaking inanity and lack any awareness.

The thing that blows my mind is why she is even given a platform to say anything… oh wait it was Fox.

  • She is either lying, or not giving Americans enough created. Cause I beleive that the vast majority of Americans know that Obama is a Kenyan-born, black-power, socialist, nazis, child-eating, gay, american-hating, Soro-loving, Grandma killing, gun-taking, Islamist, atheist, communist Anti-Christ who will tax the job creators while giving illegal immigrate terrorist first choice over our white women. Did you here that he is going to start death camps for tea-party members……

I think her standing on her head speaks to the accelerated rate at which her brains have leaked out over the years. Also, if her information and intelligence come from Faux News, she is at the bottom of the barrel sucking that swill.

  • “God invented it (marriage).”

I thought that the Buble claimed that god invented co-habitiation. At best Eve-il was Adman’s common-law spouse. Not that there was common law back then. (And anyway wasn’t s/he supposed to be a transgendered identical twin of Ad??)

  • Ramel

Is it just me, or is she actually funnier when she’s not attempting comedy?

  • dbumrob

“I was carrying a sign that said,” I am stoopid. Wow. Further proof that Fox viewers are uninformed.

  • Mr Ed

From her perspective she is right. She hangs out with a very conservative crowd and gets her information from Fox News and WND. We have presidential candidates who are not sure what or where Libya is and dislike Supreme court justice Mortimer. In the land of idiots it doesn’t take much to fell smart.

  • D. C. Sessions

In the land of idiots it doesn’t take much to fell smart.

Actually, in light of Dunning/Kruger [1] it takes even less to feel smart.

[1] $HERSELF made up a “Dunning/Kruger 2012” bumper sticker on Cafe Press. I think it still needs work if anyone wants to suggest improvements.

Clowns are funny because of how they look and act. They aren’t funny for what they say. She has half of it right, now how do we convince her to study mime?

  • subbie

My wife is very angry with you because now she has to clean up where my head exploded from teh stoopid.

  • jeevmon

But but she has a card that says she’s a “Super Genius”!

  • arakasi

Very few people in America are informed and educated as I am.

No, wait a minute. She is perfectly correct in this statement. What was left out was the natural second sentence: “I should actually be compared to belly lint – most people are far more informed and educated than I am”

  • uzza

    What’s the problem?

Very few people in America are informed and educated as I am.

AS [conjunction] in the way or manner that

    and thank God that’s true!

  • abb3w

It makes perfect sense, in a through-the-looking-glass way:

‘There’s nothing like eating hay when you’re faint,’ he remarked to her, as he munched away.

‘I should think throwing cold water over you would be better,’ Alice suggested: ‘— or some sal-volatile.’

‘I didn’t say there was nothing better,’ the King replied. ‘I said there was nothing like it.’ Which Alice did not venture to deny.

  • Fox has sunk to a new low bringing in the mentally challenged like that to make digs at the liberals.

I seriously thought she was a good comedian from what little I had seen of her, but now I realize she wasn’t trying to be funny, she’s just retarded. I mean, really?!?! She’s not putting on a show to tease Fox? Are people going to confirm their political beliefs watching that display of ignorance and pathetic drivel?

So stupid she’d go to the dentist for bluetooth.

  • Hercules Grytpype-Thynne

So stupid she’d go to the dentist for bluetooth.

I understand she thinks “Moby-Dick” is a venereal disease.

  • Azkyroth

On the other hand, quite a few rocks are.

  • twincats

I ceased to be impressed at people who could legitimately boast of having a bachelor’s degree many years ago while working in the USAF in education services. Our office had to eventually enroll 80% or so of officers on base for their mandatory continuing officer training which had to be done by mail (no internets back in the early 80’s) unless they were in the top 20% who got to go to the six week in situ course. I think they used to call it Officers War College or something.

There were more than a few that forced me toward the conclusion that anyone with enough money could buy such a degree without much

    difficulty.

I guess you can force an education on someone, but you can’t make ’em learn anything from it!

    Nope, she’s got the T-shirt.

  • I’m wondering if she is pulling a Joaquin Phoenix “I’m Still Here” stunt. Even the Fox News people were chuckling when she said people weren’t as informed and educated as her.
