Fischer: An Attack on Santorum is An Attack on Jesus

Fischer: An Attack on Santorum is An Attack on Jesus February 28, 2012

This may be one of the funniest things Bryan Fischer has ever said. He’s defending Rick Santorum’s many loopy statements, especially about the existence of Satan, and he says that if you’re attacking Santorum, you’re attacking Jesus himself:

His positions simply make good common and moral sense to the majority of Americans. For instance, they know that Jesus believed in the existence of Satan, and said more about him than any other figure in the Bible. They know perfectly well that if elites have a problem with Santorum’s Satan talk, their problem is not with Santorum, it is with Jesus.

It’s the elites who are too dull to recognize that by attacking Santorum on this issue they are insulting Jesus Christ himself. The message of the elites is thus that Jesus himself was also too stupid to understand that Satan is just a figment of a hyper-active imagination.

Okay. I can live with that.

By giving visibility to his message that no money on earth can buy, they are turbo-charging his candidacy. They think they are the smartest ones in the room, and because of that ego-centric blindness they don’t even realize they are getting played for chumps.

They are simply helping Santorum’s candidacy soar since his message is resonating with the ordinary Americans the cultural elites despise.

Wanna bet?
