Fischer Declares Fiscal Cliff Bill ‘Demonic’

Fischer Declares Fiscal Cliff Bill ‘Demonic’ January 6, 2013

Bryan Fischer’s reaction to the legislation passed by Congress to avoid the “fiscal cliff” (I hope I never hear that phrase again) is hilariously hyperbolic. He declares it ugly, vicious, demonic and a violation of the tenth commandment. Funny stuff.

Shorter Fischer: My personal demons don’t like the bill.

Seems the white-haired, white skinned guy is afraid of the ‘dark’ president and everything he does. Go figure.

(I hope I never hear that phrase again)

Too late, it has already been memed. Henceforth, everything is going to be a “cliff.” The deficit cliff comes in about two months. Just like in an earlier generation, where every scandal was a “gate.”

  • Reginald Selkirk, you’re forgetting the perfect storm: Cliffgate.

Do you guys think this dude really believes all that crap that just came out of his mouth? On the one hand, I can’t see how anyone would ACTUALLY believe such stupid….silly… argh. On the other hand…. oh, my brain.

With Fischer everything he doesn’t like (as in everything the black guy in the White House does) is either gay or demonic, or worst, demonically gay. This man is a two trick pony.

Now, can anyone tell me how many things my neighbor has that I am required to covet by the FC deal? Can I just covet one thing like his ass or ox? Or is that too gay?

  • The Fischer Corollary to Poe’s Law:

It is impossible to imagine anything that is too batshit crazy for Bryan Fischer to believe..

If find that a person’s views on modern tax policy provide a nice gauge of whether you’re talking to a political extremist or not. Take the Bush tax cuts as an example. Letting them end will raise the top income bracket from 36% to 39.6%. Now, if you think this ~4% increase in one individual tax bracket is (a) absolutely critical to the nation (left) or (b) turns the nation from capitalist to socialist (right), you’re an ideological extremist. If you view it as a minor change to one part of our tax code with little to no ideological ramifications one way or the other, you’re sane. Reasonable people can certainly disagree about whether the increase is good or bad. But no one on either side should be viewing it as a go-to-the-mat apocalyptic change to our society, because it isn’t.

Same goes here. Reasonable people can disagree about the pros and cons of the various measures of the compromise bill. But making it out to be the antichrist means you’re either a demagogue or have fallen for someone else’s demagogouery.

  • I already said this somewhere on F***book, but I’m under the impression that The Hairstyle That Walks Like A Man is running out of things to work himself into a apoplectic rage over. What’s next: ranting about the Communist Conspiracy secretly behind Gluten-free foods, perhaps?
