Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before

Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before November 26, 2014

I literally laughed out loud when I saw this headline at Newsmax: “Donald Trump, in Tweets and Comments, Fuels Talk of ’16 Run.” This is a repeat from every fucking election over the last decade. Seriously, are there people out there who are fooled by this? Really?

Donald Trump’s Twitter feed was dominated by messages of support for a possible presidential run in 2016 — alongside his tweets of praise for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and compliments on the upgrades at Trump Las Vegas, .

“I decided that I’ll choose to live in the US when you are the president,” tweeted @iamnextroom. “Good choice!” Trump tweeted back.

“The next president of United States. My president Donald Trump. In 2016,” tweeted @sintianiej to @realDonaldTrump.

Another included a reply that further stoked talk of a 2016 run.

“Are u running for president in 2016 or not?” asked @Nehemiah_israel. “We will soon see!” Trump replied.

The tweets were just the latest signal Trump has given that he is contemplating a run…

During a trip to Iowa in October, Trump said he wanted to wait until the midterm elections were concluded and which other candidates were considering running for the GOP nomination.

“We’ll see who’s running, we’re going to see what happens, first of all in the next month because it’s going to be very interesting, and then after that, we’ll make a decision sometime after the beginning of the year,” Trump said during a news conference in West Des Moines, the Des Moines Register reported…

“I look at the candidates. I’m not seeing the person that I would choose. I’m doing a lot of exciting things that I love. But I love the country far more than the things I’m doing. So we’ll see the candidates. We’ll see what happens,” he said, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.

Wake. The. Fuck. Up. Donald Trump is playing you like a fiddle if you think he has any intention of running, just like Sarah Palin does every two years. Neither of them has any intention of running for any office, ever.
