Inflating credentials seem to be an epidemic among the Christian right, from Kent Hovind and his useless PhD to Carl Baugh and his self-decreed doctorate. Add Ravi Zacharias, who calls himself doctor while not having an actual doctorate and claims to have been a “visiting scholar at Cambridge” when he just did a sabbatical at a church school that is not part of Cambridge.
