Bradlee Dean threw a major tantrum when we quoted him in 2010 saying that Muslims are more moral than Christians because they actually put gay people to death as the Bible commands. But here he is republishing a Theodore Shoebat commentary calling for exactly that:
Shoebat quotes a report about a lesbian couple who adopted a little boy and are trying to raise him without any traditional ideas about gender. And while that is laudable, they do sound pretty ridiculous at times. One of them says of their son, “It’s really funny, because he’s like super into sports. Maybe he was like an Olympic athlete in his past life.” I don’t think my eyes could roll any further or any faster. But Shoebat, of course, doesn’t just criticize such silliness, he wants them murdered:
A lesbian couple adopted a little boy and they are now forcing him to become homosexual, regardless of the fact that he does not like it. This is absolute child abuse and should be responded to by the authorities of the state. Of course, that will not happen because the elites of this nation are amongst the antichrist forces…
This is indoctrination, worthy of being punished under the law – worthy of death I should say.
Now let’s recap what happened with Bradlee Dean in 2010, when he said this on his radio show:
“Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America,” Dean said on YCR’s May 15 radio show on AM 1280 the Patriot. “This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.”
When Andy Birkey, my former American Independent News Network colleague, published a story quoting that verbatim, it was picked up by Rachel Maddow, who did a segment on it. Dean then got Larry Klayman, the dumbest lawyer in America not named Mat Staver, to file a defamation suit against both AINN and Maddow. It failed, of course. Never even made it to court. And now Dean owes more than $20,000 in legal fees, which he’s never paid, in addition to whatever he owes Klayman from it (if anything).
Dean put out a statement saying that he does not support violence against gay people, despite clearly saying he does on his radio show. And now he’s republishing columns explicitly calling for the murder of gay people. I think it’s quite obvious what is going on here.
