Parker: The ‘B’ in LGBT is for Bestiality

Parker: The ‘B’ in LGBT is for Bestiality July 18, 2018

Star Parker, one of the many black conservatives so beloved by the wingnutosphere because they provide a thin cover for their racism — see, I have a black friend! — says that soon the ‘B’ on LGBT will stand for bestiality. She provides no evidence or argument for that claim, just literal dehumanization.

Religious Right activist and right-wing commentator Star Parker appeared on the “Vocal Point” radio program today to discuss a recent column she wrote in which she declared that “Gay Pride Month has become a time for LGBTQ storm troopers to pursue political enemies. Not much different from the infamous Kristallnacht in Nazi Germany, when Nazi brown shirts took to the streets to smash windows of shops owned by Jews.”

During the interview, Parker absurdly claimed that the “B” in “LGBTQ” stands not for “bisexual” but rather for “bestiality.”

“They keep pushing out this idea, LGBTQ,” she said. “We did the ‘L’ and the ‘G,’ they legalized marriage for themselves. We doing the ‘T’ now—the trans—and this is a big, big challenge in our society right now. They did the ‘Q’ where they’re changing all the textbooks, even as low as kindergarten, to reflect that you don’t know what you are, you’re questioning. But notice they skipped over the ‘B,’ and there are some that say this ‘B’ is going to bombard us with real vileness in our society if they get what they want because it’s not about bisexuality, it’s about bestiality.”

“There are some that say.” She must be talking to those same “many people” that are always saying things to Trump. Inventing mythical people making vague claims is apparently what passes for evidence among those who lack the capability of thinking rationally about actual evidence. And it’s so easy to do. It argues for every single claim equally well, including claims that contradict one another. There are some that say this is the last refuge of incredibly stupid and bigoted people like Star Parker. Many people are saying that. Not me, of course. I mean, I did say it, but I forgot to put “not” in there, so it’s all okay.
