Malkin: Liberals Want Second Civil War March 4, 2019

From the annals of Every Accusation is a Confession, Michele Malkin told CPAC this weekend that liberals want to start a second Civil War. Never mind that all of the “second Civil War” rhetoric is coming from the right, not the left. It’s Trumpworld, so just shut and accept the most obvious nonsense.

“Our enemies are both foreign and domestic,” she seethed. “Inside our already flimsily defended borders, we are not at peace. Or rather, the radical left is not at peace with us. From the comfort of TV green rooms and Beltway backrooms and corporate boardrooms and conference ballrooms, it may not look like civil war is imminent, but threats and outright violence against you—ordinary, law-abiding people—are now regularized features, not just random bugs, in these Disunited States.”…

“Where are the sanctuary spaces for law-abiding conservatives who simply want to exercise their rights to free speech and peaceable assembly?” she asked. “The divide in this county is between decent people who stand up for America and dastardly people who want to bring America to its knees.”

Oh yes, how can we forget all those left-wing militias out in the woods training for the coming Civil War (read: race war) and stockpiling massive amounts of weaponry. And all those left-wing groups bombing abortion clinics. And all those left-wing groups taking over government facilities and having standoffs with the federal government. Yeah, it’s the left that wants a second civil war.

And yes, she actually used the word “dastardly.” Snidely Whiplash could not be reached for comment.
