Mohler: Being Human Requires Being a Parent

Mohler: Being Human Requires Being a Parent September 6, 2019

Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and former vice chairman of Focus on the Family, tweeted out a link to his daily podcast in which he claimed that “to be human is to be a parent.” So apparently to not have children is not to be a fully human being. You know, like Jesus and Paul.

Apparently this renowned theologian has never bothered to read 1 Corinthians, Chapter 7, where the Apostle Paul gives reasons why it’s not only okay to be single, and thus childless, but might even be a better choice than getting married. Or to the fact that Jesus himself never married and had no children, so apparently he wasn’t actually human. That kind of negates his whole point, does it not?
