An Australian con man — sorry, I mean “prophet” — spoke at the Seers Conference in Austin, Texas and told the dupes and marks there that God wants to start a revival in Austin, but witches, warlocks and demons are blocking the prayers of Christians in that city. Sounds totally plausible, doesn’t it? (more…) Read more

Tucker Carlson seems to be getting more deranged by the minute. He did a segment on a study that shows that concern for the environment is a “stereotypically feminine trait” and then wondered to his equally bigoted guest, Mark Steyn, “How did we end up with a country in which feminists do science?” (more…) Read more

The utterly reprehensible Jesse Lee Peterson is quite upset about a lesbian being elected mayor of Chicago this week and he’s ranting about how this proves he was right all along when he said that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote because they keep voting for things he doesn’t like. The New York Times reported this week and some of Mueller’s assistant prosecutors have vented their frustrations about Attorney General Barr’s summary of the report, saying the information in the report is far more damaging to Trump than that summary suggests. Trump attacked them on Twitter, saying the article is based on fake sources and therefore “totally illegal.” (more…) Read more

The House completed what the Senate started and passed a bill withdrawing American support and funding for Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen, which the UN calls the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today. Unfortunately, they did not do it with a veto-proof margin and Trump is likely to veto it. (more…) Read more

According to a New York Times report, Trump instructed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to confirm his nominee to be the chief counsel to the IRS immediately. That nominee just happens to have worked for the Trump Organization before, and had a practice with two others. With Congress demanding to see his tax returns, I’m sure that’s totally a coincidence. When I said that Trump’s statement that wind power generation means if the wind isn’t blowing, you can’t watch TV that night was the dumbest thing he’d ever said on the subject, he apparently took that as a challenge and added a whole new idiotic claim: Wind turbines cause cancer. The full Mueller report ran to more than 400 pages long, not including supporting material. Attorney General Bob Barr release a four-page summary of that much longer document. Now some of Mueller’s assistant prosecutors are telling associates that Barr deliberately left out much more damaging information on Trump that is in the report but not mentioned in his summary. I hope you’re sitting down for this. Donald Trump lied about something. Repeatedly. I know that seems terribly shocking, but follow me on this. He’s been claiming that gave $91 billion in aid to Puerto Rick after Hurricane Maria, more than twice what we gave Texas and Florida after hurricanes around the same time frame (subtext: Why are we giving money to them dirty Mexicans rather than our own red-blooded Americans?). Fact Check sets the record straight. (more…) Read more

My old pal Joseph Farah, owner of the Worldnetdaily, is in serious trouble. The Washington Post got a look at a bunch of internal documents from the “news” site and interviewed many authors who signed on with their publishing company, and says the company is drowning in debt, has laid off almost all its staff, and has stiffed contractors, writers and virtually everyone else on their paychecks and royalties.
