The Democratic Tsunami

Power corrupts and Absolute Power corrupts absolutely! Well Absolute power also makes you blind!

So deep was the apathy of the people of the United States and so little did the Republicans and – specifically George Bush – understand it that they were in their own world of “Eye-Rack” .. Iraq STUPID! Little did anyone see that the country had become sick and tired of that inane campaign that was orchestrated just for the familial vengeance of the Bush family!

This election will mark watershed in the democratic history of the US for may landmarks:

– Keith Ellison became the second Black Governor in US History
– Keith Ellison became the first Muslim to be elected to Congress (he converted to Islam when he was 19)
– Nancy Pellosi became the first Speaker of the House of Representatives

It was a Democratic wave this time. There were cases when the Republican guy was good yet he paid the price. Heck if you were Democratic, you did not even have to be living to win this time! All you needed was a name even if it was posthumous! A dead Democratic lady won a county commissioner’s race in South Dakota! That says something about this time’s elections!
