Chinese Year of the Pig starts Sunday!

On Sunday, the Year of the Pig is starting. It is a good year to have babies… why? Because the people born in the Year of Pig are lucky.. Happy New Year to all the Chinese readers of this blog!

According to Chinese astrology, people born in pig years are polite, honest, hardworking and loyal. They are also lucky, which is why many Chinese like to have babies in a pig year.

But the year itself is not very good for the world. Chinese Astrologers are predicting deaths and epidemics and wars.. lots of bloodshed – specially with fire involved.. possibly terrorism!

The guy who forecasted that the North Korea crisis will get worse.. is predicting this for the coming Pig Year:

Singapore fortuneteller John Lok predicted the situation in Iraq will not settle and President Bush will have a bad year.

He also said the next president of France may be a woman — no surprise there since one of the main candidates is a woman, Segolene Royal of the Socialist party.
