Even Brahma will Perish

This verse is very significant. According to it, Brahma – the "Creator" will PERISH as well! So who is this ‘I" in this verse? Is the "I" in this verse what gets personified into Brahma? According to Vasistha, as he taught Lord Ram at his Gurukul, Vishnu was the first creation – and so, as the logic goes, the first imperfection! Vishnu created Brahma.. and he was the second imperfection!

There is nothing to have been created so who can be the creator? Who creates my dream? Me?

I adore myself.
How wonderful I am!
I can never die.
The whole world may perish,
From Brahma to a blade of grass,
But I am still here.
