Third Front has come together with the likes of Dewe Gowda, Mayawati, Communists and Chandrababu Naidu sharing bed with each other. The regional satraps have joined hands with the Communists with the hope that they will get their chance of lifetime to become the PM of India. If in modern times there was a Jaichand in India - then IK Gujral may well stake a claim for the top candidate of that genre of traitors. Mayawati, unashamed fool as she is, has even gone ahead and staked the claim to be the PM candidate from the Third Front. We have seen THREE thoroughly undeserving and shameless people become Prime Ministers from this bunch of people - VP Singh (Dec 1989 - Nov 1990), Dewe Gowda (1996-97), and IK Gujral (21 April 1997 - 28 November 1997). The first two were certified goons, but the third guy was supposed to be an intellectual - but even he couldn't get away from this lure and staked a claim to mess the country up at that time and finally made one decision for which India may well rue for years and decades to come![1] It has come out in Indian news that I K Gujral during his tenure as PM, as part of his doctrine, wound up the Research and Analysis Wing's - India's external intelligence agency - covert operations in Pakistan. Acting in the belief of earning 'goodwill' of Pakistan, gave details of R&AW assets in Pakistan. It has been alleged that this led to physical elimination of R&AW human assets through extra-judicial means by Pakistan's intelligence agencies. This has been severevly critized in the light of the November 2008 Mumbai attacks and signifies the final futility of his doctrine - belief in the 'inherent goodwill' of openly hostile neighbors. Two teachers in the same school - ironically named Bountiful Junior High School - have been arrested because they had sex with a teenage kid. Both indulged with the same male student. One, Linda Nef, 46, is married; and second Valynne Bowers, 39 is divorced. Both have teenage kids. In both cases the relationship ostensibly followed the same path - from personal conversations to erotic text messaging and phone sex and finally oral and intercourse sex. Although the acts didn't happen in school, they were committed in their homes, parking lots and public parks. They have been charged with sodomy and rape. Cases of such behavior has become common in the last few years. Or at least it has been coming out more. Where a female teacher indulges in sexual activity with an underage boy. Many teachers have been arrested and charged and yet this keeps going on. Do you have any thoughts on what is contributing to this? Why despite the obvious criminality of the act would a lady in her 40s (or even late 20s and 30s) seek out a teenage kid to satisfy her sexual needs? Why not someone her age? Read more
The world today is undergoing serious crisis in every corner. And I am not talking about the economy right now. Its the social one that I am talking. South Asia: India: is the big daddy of this region. Elections are upon us. Congress and BJP are trying to fight it out. But the Third Front with regional parties and the Left has made a solid claim this time. From all practical scenarios, it seems to be pointing to a HUNG parliament. Horse trading and coalition later.. the country could again see a mid term election. Meanwhile, a terrorist attack of the type of Mumbai 26/11 can happen any time. Why? Not necessarily because Jehadis in Pak really want it, but because we have done very little to curb the right points. It is any body's guess where Dawood Ibrahim and his gang gets most of their money? Mumbai. And through smuggling, extortion and Hawala rackets. The guys who actually financed the 26/11 attacks were really the citizens of India whose money was funneled through all these mafia guys all the way into Dawood and Jehadi hands. Taliban, it would seem, has also joined hands with D company. So, expect this mafia thing to strengthen. Economy is unravelling as well. Although there are some analysts I have read who predict India to be militarily and economically the largest country by 2060, surpassing China in 2030. Read more

Madoff is in jail today. He has put millions of dollars of many hard working people into oblivion. I guess the expression "Laughing away to his bank" was actually made for Madoff... as he "Made off" with the hard earned money of his victims. And what was his scheme? Well he would take money from wealthy people promising them 10-30% "safe" returns. And how was he investing that money? Well, he would take the money and deposit it into Chase bank account for the basic interest (3-4%??). When someone would ask for money, he would pay them... but would need more "investors" (or really victims) to keep the Ponzi scheme going! Today he said that he knew he would end up in jail one day, but even though he was aware of the mess, he could not extricate himself out of this once he was in it. What he used was an old marketing technique.. where he would only deal with people who were "in" a club. So, there was an air of exclusiveness. That made him believable and also someone special.
