Despite so many years of terrorism in India and now import of all that in the rest of the world, Brits still don't get it! David Miliband, the British foreign secretary has given a rather forgettable performance in India. He has said on this tour - contrary to the claims and efforts of US officials - that Pakistani state is not involved in the Mumbai attacks .. probably having no understanding of how the entire administration really works there.[1] As if that was not enough, this idiot now goes on to say that India and Pakistan's problems are due to Kashmir.[2] Really? If the plans of ISI - Pakistan's Intelligence Services are checked - then that does not seem to be the case.[3] In the plans that have now come to light - both at the micro and macro level - ISI believes it can destabilize India by 2020 so badly that there will be a "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" in India by then. The maps target North India and put South India as the "disputed territory". In another map, Mumbai is termed as Muslimabad by 2012 as its demography is changed completely. The siege is planned via the sea and the land routes. Probably Mumbai Attacks were a rehearsal for the sea attacks. Such is the naivette of the world and us Indians that we would not believe such a thing could happen. It is not that one should hate Islam or Muslims or that one has to be racist about there being an Islamic rule in India.. but ask those who ACTUALLY live in Islamic countries - do they even want an Islamic rule? The Islamic law - Sharia is so repressive and backward that it is obvious that it should be classified as a violation of Human Rights to begin with!! Read more

ADDING VIBRANT WARM COLORS TO OUR LIVES We, who live in tropical countries, don’t have the many benefits from spring fever. Why? It is due to the fact that we never see Nature dressed in beautiful white, as you do during winter time. For us, oudoors always have vibrant warm colors. Firt world countries are usually located to the north, where the four season are well marked. On the other hand in our countries we usually experience just two well marked seasons. In our countries even blind people show a noticable happiness of living, as some tourist through the years have told me due to the fact that nearby our main hotel area there is a place for blind people and these tourist have heard that our blind people laugh more often than blind people from their industralized nations. Does this fact mean than even blind people can “feel” through their skins our wonderful vibrant colors?I really don’t know. An idea has just struck me. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if in countries where our healthy sunlight is most needed there were ways to neutralize people’s blue moods? No more depressed moods at all! By using our imagination together with making our auras brighter. These useful combination would bring people the attraction of psychic, but very real , warm vibrant colors to their productive lives. If our minds are where they think they are and not where they actually are, then can we not thrick our minds to benefit from this knowledge? You can imagine that you are in colorful Mexico or another colorful country not enjoying from their beaches, but other magic places, for example ; rain forests, mountains, Ancient indian ruins and currently places where our planet’s high energy is still felt. Now counting with internet we can mentally “travel” to these amazing places. Read more

I grew up as a very skinny kid and since I was also a vegetarian, some would mock and some would keep giving me advise on why I should add meat to my diet to have a "healthier" physique. I think I was in my 9th standard when I stumbled into a park near my house and found a small but well equipped "Akhara" (local/rural gym)- with dumbells, bench-press (bench, weights and rods) and other stuff. People there were regular and would be at the place as early as 4 am. I started slow but by 10th - in summer holidays - I had become a regular! I would regularly get up at 4 am and be at the Akhara at 4.30 or so. Do my weights and then walk around the park. Then come home and do push ups. The number of push ups increased from 25 to 50 and by my 11th standard, I was comfortably doing over 100 push ups at one go. By that time, most of the voices who wanted me to get a better physique had stopped. I was probably one of the better built kids in my school. As life went on, I left my weight training. In fact after my 11th standard, I don't ever remember doing anything serious for even a month at a stretch. In my MBA days though, I did win the second prize in the Powerlifting competition - missing the top one by a whisker and specially after I had spent the day doing Quizzes, Painting, Races etc while the other participants were busy practising their weights! Anyway, as I moved into the job and then to the US, I put on weight. From a 75 kg lean but well built guy, I had grown to almost 210 lbs by last year. During the July 4th weekend, I went to a friend's place. He saw me and didn't approve of it quietly. As I came back, he sent me a well detailed email with links showing why I was "severly over weight"! And as I saw it, I realized the time had come to get back into shape. I had tried once before a few years back but I could not sustain it. So, I realized that losing weight is important, but it is NOT the most critical. THE most critical thing in this journey has to be SUSTAINING it! So I made a few assumptions: - I would not go for any peculiar or "special" diets. I will eat the regular stuff I eat, maybe change a thing here or there and reduce portions surely.. but NO energy bars for lunch or any of those miracle stuff for me! - I will NOT go for any exercise that makes me hate exercising! I will do what I feel most comfortable about. - I will add weight training to my schedule - as I was told that lifting weights along with cardio increases your metabolism. Moreover, the narcissist that I am, I love to exert more if I look good to myself! Read more

WHEN OUR DREAMS ARE JUST PLAIN DREAMS AND WHEN ARE IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL MESSAGES FROM OUR INNER TRUE SELF? SOME IMPORTANT PERSONAL CONSIDERATIONS ON THIS THEME. We spend one third of our lives sleeping. It would be very interesting to have just a glimpse of these apparently moments of objective unconsciousness, but subconscious alertness. By the way it is easier than we think. Well if we’ve been spiritually oriented for some time it is. On the other hand if we just have opened our senses to the amazing beauties of this immense realm, then it becomes just a little difficult. Read more

OUR BEAUTIFUL TREES ALSO HAVE INTERSTING TREE LIVES. Once upon a time when I was an arab boy, an amazing experience happend to me. It was a very hot summer day, so I was under a beautiful thick fig tree. Suddenly this tree stared to talk to me, at first I though it was my imagination due to the soft wind making a pleasant noise as it moved some tree leaves. I now know that it was telephatic conversation being held by this tree and myself. He said : “ Don’t you remember me Azis?””I do not” I answered with a very shaky voice, almost a whisper. “Well, my friend let me tell you that we met for the first time about three hundred years ago in another land. You were a chela at that time and you were about the age you are now, it is ten years old. Right?” Read more

Dhirubhai once said about Modi "yeh lambi race ka ghoda hai". Now his son, Anil Ambani and another top businessman, Sunil Mittal have stated that Modi is the National PM material and should be leading the country soon.[1] I agree. I have said that categorically some time back itself in "Narendra Modi for PM". There were many people who had opposed and criticized this article and my views, but to me - if you look around there are very few honest and pragmatic people in the country. As much as he is made into a devil, the truth is that the people who throw stones at him are the ones who have been greater devils. So, I am sick of those who SELECTIVELY criticize him and leave others apart. In any case, I think it would be good for India in the long term if we are to fight back in the coming years - against the terror minds and masters. That is why, I think it would be great if LK Advani could walk away and give that opportunity to Modi. On the other side in Congress the voices to put Rahul Gandhi [3] and Priyanka Wadehra [2] up for the PM seat and run the dynasty forward have been growing. Only some totally powerful strategy can save India from being held into another dynastic rule! Read more

In 2002, I tried (without success) to induce Stanford University to retract my MBA. Here's why: The dean of the business school when i got my degree there was Robert Jaedicke. He was also an accounting professor, and I took advanced accounting course while I was a student. I last saw Jaedicke, 30 years later, on TV. He was testifying about his involvement in Enron fiasco. Not only was he an Enron board member - he was the chairman of the board's Audit Committee. Yet he claimed he had no clue about the truckload of peculiar transactions that brought the company down! When a guy who served as Enron's audit boss.... the last bastion of bean counting... invokes the "clueless" defense, it makes you wonder: Did he have any clue as to the usefulness of the curriculum at the school where he'd been a dean? Did he have any clue as to what lessons I'd extract from his "advanced" accounting course? starts off Tom Peters in my favorite book "Reimagine" The tainted Corporate bosses suddenly feign ignorance and idiocy. We had seen that happen during the Enron trial and others in that era of scams in the US and now we are seeing it in the Satyam case. Read more

You know things are really on the down when the ubiquitous porn industry asks for a bail out. Well, the bosses in the industry are asking for a $5 billiion dole.[1] “The government’s handing out money to the auto industry, why shouldn’t it hand some to an industry the nation could not live without?” So sums up the producer of "Girls Gone Wild", Joe Francis. One actress has already seen a 20% decline in the customers who pay $19.99 for her to perform. Sex is after all the age old past time of human beings ever since life emanated.. and vicarious means have been utilized to keep one happy in absense of the "real". But if one fiinds even the vicarious happiness so expensive and cannot go for that, then obviously somethings is not good! Read more
