Nine serial blasts took place in Bangalore (Bengaluru). Two people have died and 6 got injured. The blasts reportedly took place within about 12 minutes at around 1-30 pm, that is after the Friday's mid-day namaz in the local mosques. The blasts took place in two intervals of one hour each. The first seven blasts took place between 1.30-2.30 pm, the eighth blast blast took place at Hosaguddahalli, near Gopalan Mall, on Mysore road at around 5.30 pm and the ninth blast took place near the Army Engineering College on Mysore Road at 6.30 pm. Police say that Ammonia Nitrate and Urea was used. Strangely, the blasts weren't designed to kill. They weren't in areas where foreigners lived or worked or major tourist attractions. Why? Were these blasts to give a warning to the Intelligence forces and the Government with a message - "We can do whatever whenever we like!"?? It was an act of audacity as opposed to an act of mayhem (as it very well could have been!). But make no mistake - it was an act of terrorism. Now, the way these blasts were done and triggered - two culprits emerge: Al Ummah and SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India). SIMI has been active for a long time. Despite being in the cross-hairs of Indian intelligence, somehow they kept getting empathy and support of the leftist/activist group on account of being "students". There was no reason for such empathy or feeling of "comrade-ship" but then one has learned to discount the masochistic and utterly idiotic mind-set of the Leftists in India! Read more
Ok, this concept has been expressed by many and confused for everyone.. and mired into myriad of useless rituals which make no sense or help you. Watching this video almost led me to that state.. it is the most brilliant "satsang" that I have witnessed. Had to put it right away! Read more
I am not sure how I landed on this video... but after a long time someone has again resonated with me after Krishnamurti. Yes, there are many great Masters - but they just dont resonate with my soul.. they throw out so much crap along with the "real" thing. This guy, thankfully doesn't play around with the truth.. You will see a lot of him on drishtikone for sure.. Read more
Of course, humans can also read and write which Monkeys cannot. Humans are more sophisticated about prostitution. Here is a price chart from Hong Kong. Look at the difference in prices. A Malay girl is the cheapest and a Russian girl goes for 2 times a Chinese girl.. and Philippine is a little better than Malay girl. Do you know why? Well, my guess is its something to do with skin color. Read more
Some Yale researchers taught monkeys to use money using some special tokens. What do you think they went and bought with it? Sex. Probably in the first observed incident of prostitution Monkeykind! Something else happened during that chaotic scene, something that convinced Chen of the monkeys' true grasp of money. Perhaps the most distinguishing characteristic of money, after all, is its fungibility, the fact that it can be used to buy not just food but anything. During the chaos in the monkey cage, Chen saw something out of the corner of his eye that he would later try to play down but in his heart of hearts he knew to be true. What he witnessed was probably the first observed exchange of money for sex in the history of monkeykind. (Further proof that the monkeys truly understood money: the monkey who was paid for sex immediately traded the token in for a grape.) Now, these researchers are worried. While they want it all to be just natural and not deliberately regulate to harm the research.. but then it might be difficult to take it if their lab became a Monkey brothel?? 🙂 Tricky problem huh! In our ignorance, we usually blame our negative current situation to adversity, often forgetting that, it was precisely due to have faced adverse situations in our past that we succeeded in overcoming these obstacles in our path. If we had been served everything on silver platters, we couldn’t have been victorious in defeating adversity. We wouldn’t have improved many useful things, either. We live in an age of taking short cuts to supremacy. Many past experiences have effectively taught us that, these so called short cuts lacked stability, sincerity, or a fundamental experience as a needed basic reality. Let’s keep in mind that, we can only build upon what we have; we can communicate only what we are. Mentioning knowledge, in our world there are two kinds of people: Those who favor theoretical knowledge, and those who are greatly in favor of the practical application of it. About a hundred years ago a very important scholar said: “My society is full of sponges from top to bottom”. Read more
