Employees at WIPRO fired for Faking Resumes

This is a story of resume faking at WIPRO - which is a fairly common practice in the IT area! Wipro has just fired some employees for faking their CVs. It has also filed police complaints against several recruitment agencies for helping these employees falsify CV information. While it’s yet not certain how many employees were shown the door, this is perhaps the first instance of Wipro’s rigorous defence system against such malpractice being so seriously breached. Manipulation of resumes, often in active collaboration with recruitment agencies, and sometimes with the knowledge of recruitment personnel of IT companies, is assuming alarming proportions. IT is a level field now... and you cannot afford to be happy and comfortable by beating your own peers in your own city.. but also compete with people across the globe! This is a good article! This is one of the stories of the many Indians who suffer in the Pakistani prisons! On the cracked wall behind is a black-and-white picture that shows a fresh-faced bride just of her teens. She looks a bit startled, surprised by the camera’s whirr. Standing next to her is her husband, Kashmir Singh. He looks stern. That was the only photo Paramjit Kaur could click with her husband. Finally the time has come for the full convertibility - from the time when Dr. Singh took over reigns of a faltering India's vaults in 1990 as the Finance Minister to now in 2006 when he is the PM - we have moved far.. full convertibility will bring in more investment from foreign investors! The Indian government's keenness to move towards greater capital account convertibility is driven by a desire to attract more foreign money into the country to keep up its rapid pace of growth, analysts said on Monday. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, architect of India's economic reforms in the early 1990s, sprang a surprise on Mumbai's business community at the weekend by announcing on a visit to the financial hub that fuller convertibility had its merits. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a new way to marry IT and Business side of the enter Enterprise Architecture equation. The idea is that the underlying IT assets should be used in a changeable Business environment by changing the configuration of the "middle" layer that works with any IT system irrespective of its platform while delivering the changes to the business!
