I looked at the Portal... very neat looking thing. Though I did not have the time to go into it in detail.. but I looked at the Birth certificate link.. it gives a lot of information! It also gives a pdf format for the proforma application too ... so it cuts the time that it takes to go through the hoops to first know WHAT TO DO?? In unorganized economies, there is a lot of cost to information. I believe this can reduce some of that cost! Good job! This is a good front end.. the next endeavour should be to link it to the backend... where we can apply for the birth certificate online! Read more

Last night, I was at the Barnes & Noble, where I happened to read "Strange Matters" by Tom Siegfried. He has discussed various "on-the-edge" and new scientific theories and thoughts! Over the next few days, I will share different things that I jotted down from that book with you and relate it to the writings of Vivekananda, Krishnamurti, and Vasishtha Yoga. The African leader, President Omar Bongo of Gabon, met with President Bush in the Oval Office on May 26, 2004, 10 months after Mr. Abramoff made the offer. dkapoor.com was my personal URL and I had started it as MY blog only... but then some people joined as users and I thought some of them may want to write on this bloog site - with their thoughts. In that context, it wasn't fair to them to have them write on a blog bearing my name! You can of course still access using the dkapoor.com link. That is why I searched for a "neutral" domain name and hit upon "Drishtikone" - which in Hindi means "Perspective" - which sounded like a PERFECT domain for this blog! (Wonder why no one else had registered it until now!!??). Moreover, today this blog crossed 1000 UNIQUE VISITORS mark - and NOT the "Hits" that other blogs keep counting (which are over 10,000 by now!!).
