So this article is not for general candle spells, it is a very specific candle spell and way to execute it. If you have not read Part 1 of this article series, you need to go back and read it to understand.
So from the last article, we learned about the dynamic between the Divine Mother and Father of Worlds when it comes to this magical practice. She will be creating the path for your intention to manifest, and He will be manifesting that path into the physical world.
What you will need to start:
First, an Intention. Be specific here as to the goal you are wanting to achieve – the goal, not the steps. For your first time doing this kind of spell, make it a goal you can easily see and measure tangible results with. After all, the result is the reason why we do magic.
Two candles. Preferably ones in a glass container – I highly recommend the ones you can get from dollar tree because they are cheap and work well for this. I would choose just plain white, as I feel it works the best. If you really need some color though, I would choose a red for Hers and a green or black for His.
A rosary. If you do not have a rosary, the easiest thing would be to get a string and tie 10 knots for the decade words and one larger knot for bridge words. Total of 11 knots. I would especially do this if you are just testing out this kind of spell work, so you are not investing in a tool you may not want to use again. Below is a picture of a rosary, with each bead being labeled a number – this will make more sense when we get to that part.
Other Optional aspects:
A glass of water (in glass or ceramic) to put between the two candles. The water is like a bridge between Them – an easy carrier and flow for the work.
An anointing oil – whether this is a sacred oil or Blessing Water for Divine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPtAJ5G-Z6s or an oil specific for your intention/goal. This will not be added to the candle itself but to the outside glass.
An image, picture, effigy, or symbolism for each the Mother and Father. This can be trickier if you have not worked with Them before and do not know what Their image for you is. An easy and simple image to use though is drawing a diamond with a circle in the center. The circle represents the Mother – the heart and center of the work. The diamond shape represents Him, the structures that have to be formed, deconstructed or created, for the manifestation. You can place this under the water cup or somewhere by the candles (or between them).
Prepping the Candles
Once you have everything ready, sit in the space you are going to have the candles burning. (Please keep in mind fire safety).
You are going to start with one candle and place the other candle to the side, as it will be a few days before you will need it. If you are using an anointing oil or water, place a bit of it in your left palm, rub your hands together, thinking of your intention. Then grab your candle to hold it.
Once you have your candle in your hands, I like to place the bottom of it either against my lap or chest to steady it. Once hand at a time, I stroke from the top of the candle to the bottom, speaking out loud my intention or petition. You do not have to memorize this, but be simple and clear in the goal you want to achieve.
Be careful here. This is not like other spell works (at least mine). You are focused on the goal only. Not what needs to happen to create the goal. Not the steps to get there. Not the other energies or helpers that should be involved. This is a hands-off approach, giving Them the goal we desire and allowing Them to do everything else.
Once you are finished, Place the candle in front of you on the altar/ table/ counter. You can put the cup of water next to it and whatever image/ symbol for Them next to or near it. Then light it.
While it Burns
If using the dollar tree brand and letting it continually burn, each one will burn for about 4 days. If adding the glass of water, be sure to change it every day right before you begin the prayer process.
Every day that the candle is burning you will need to say the prayer below with your rosary/ string while sitting in front of it: (if using the simple string, then say all the prayers except #8 on the large one and the decades #8 on the 10 smaller ones)
Say the days the first candle is burning and before you light the second:
1.(1st medallion) Lady of the Bones, Sacred Weaver of the Fates, Mother of the Red
Guide me forward, teach me your Wisdom, and reveal your secrets.
From the Waters of eternity, to the lands of the people, your footsteps leave a trail.
Awaken the Will with fire, rooted deep within our
Unity and carried on the wind to heal, to grow, to know.
Blessed Mother, awaken my soul, let the knowing flow,
and let the Love between us grow.
2. I am the Tree – You are the soil, the air, the water, the sun, and the moon,
You feed and nourish my growth, I grow showing your strength and Love.
3. I have experienced what was.

8. Red:(say for each bead of the decade set) ( say for the first 3 decade sets)
Lady of the Bones, I stand fearless in the strength of your power,
for it is the abundance all around me.
Intuition, Passion, and Deep Emotion is the natural pulse and flow of Self Mastery,
Loyalty, Justice and Sacrifice creates Harmony between us,
Harmony creates Unity
Unity breaks the old by creating new.
9. (bead in-between decade beads) From the Waters to the Earth, From the Fires to the Air,
Sacred Mother hear my prayers.
(say for the 4th decade set)
8. White:(each bead of the decade) Lady of the Bones,
Shelter me in your cloak, heal my wounds so that I may heal others,
Give me the courage and strength to know your ancient wisdom,
to feel and move within the Knowing
to unlock the powers of your mysteries
to transform through love and hope
Blessed Mother, I hold our sacred bond within my heart and within my actions
Let your light shine through me to guide the way forward
Let Your presence be felt and let Your love be known in the miracles you perform
(say for the 5th/ last decade set)
8. Black:(decade beads) (say this one for the 5th decade set)
Lady of the Bones, Sacred Mother of Transformation,
Give me strength to embrace my shadows and transmute them into the instruments of my victories,
Give me the courage to stand strong in the storm that threatens to consume me
Show me compassion, as I show compassion for others
Show me how to destroy for the purpose of new creations and peaceful lives
Divine Mother, may I live in Your reflection,
in movement and voice, to restore alignment,
the hand of Your Justice and the heart of Your forgiveness
When the first candle is about ¾ done, about the 3rd day you will prep His candle. Same motion but instead of saying your goal, say “Father of Worlds, take the path She has created and bring it forth into my reality.” Once the candle has been anointed by oil, water, or just your hands – light it and place it next to Hers. If you are doing the glass of water, place it between them.
Now you will switch and start saying this form of the prayer every day until both candles have gone out: **Same as above except start with 3 decades of the black, one decade of the white, and end with one decade of the red. The colors are listed next to each decade above.
You want to start paying close attention to any signs/ small results you start seeing or experiencing in this second phase. Keep some kind of record or journal of them and spend some time thinking on them. If you work with Oracle cards or a form a divination geared specifically towards actions, you may choose to draw one for each day as a focus card for you.
Once Both Candles are Out
Once both candles have burnt out, the spell is done and the path has been set to manifest. Take note of any effects you have already been experiencing or seeing, as well as, any going forward. Even small changes start to add up quickly. Also be mindful of any changes within yourself such as heightened senses, energy level, and so forth.

Deeper Understandings
Unlike many other spell works I have done, where we are looking at all the patterns and energies at play, figuring out what needs to be cut away and what needs to be brought in, what we think is the right energies/ allies to help us shift and weave the intention into being, and then deciding the path we think is best for all of them to take – in this one we are solely focused on the goal and letting Them choose and weave the best path to bring it to life.
There is a place for spell work that we craft every step, especially for Self transformation and spell work. I also think it is what every practitioner should learn in the beginning so you understand the mechanics behind spell crafting and magical work. How energy works, how to change and manipulate it for specific effects, and the cycles and patterns they are connected to.
I think there is also a place for this kind of spell work – specifically for physical life matters, the world outside of ourselves. “We only know what we know and there is so much we do not know.” We may see certain patterns and cycles, but we may miss others at play there as well. We know our intentions and actions, but we do not truly know what is in the hearts and minds of the other people around us that are connected to or interacting with the same pattern or cycle we are. It gets messier and more convoluted when working magic on outside world structures such as legal, political, and economic matters. For those kind of works, this kind of mode may give you the best results.
