Everything that I put out there, whether it be spells, practices, frameworks, or anything else like that, I have done, tested, and measured results for. I am a results based person, especially when it comes to magic and spiritualism. If I am not experiencing or seeing tangible results, then it is not meant for me, its not my mode.
I think people assume that if another person’s spell did not work for them, either it is bad spell or worse, that they are the problem – they are not magical enough or do not possess the ability. Personally I think every single person has the ability to any kind of magical work, spirit walk, channel, communicate and work with the Unseen, etc. It is more a matter of what skills are the strongest, thus emerging naturally, and which ones we need to develop and hone within ourselves.
The problem wasn’t with you, perhaps it was you following the spell like instructions, with their symbolism, their ingredients, and how that person worked the spell. Instead of thinking of their spell like the blueprint. For example: they used rosemary for ancestors. What if you are allergic to it or have an aversion to rosemary – that herb will not work for you. The herb here is just representational magic to connect to a specific pattern (ancestors) – So switch it for an herb or scent that makes you feel connected to your ancestors, what you use in your practice.
All spells can be broke down into their components: the spirits/ patterns/ energies you are connecting to and asking for aid, the elements needed to enhance or perform the work, and so forth. That spell needs all those components but what those are should either match your own practices, or you change them to match your own. Not sure why that PSA was needed, but its there so I’m leaving it in. Let’s get on with our story…
Spell Crafting
Like most of my work and spells, this one came from my Divine. Sometimes it is like channeling or a vision, sometimes it is like a puzzle being put together in my head. I used to question that when I was younger, but it always holds true and works so I have just decided to flow with it. When they give me something, I just do it. I can see as it is coming together what are the component aspects are, what energies are being tapped and woven, and evaluate if the magic looks sound (the flow and components of the spell).
Once I do it, I evaluate it, keeping track of all the results. Honest and clear evaluation I think is important to measure the spell itself (effectiveness) and also for adjustments. Sometimes there may be a missing piece, or something needs to be changed to improve the outcomes. Not every spell works – but investigating why and learning from it are important.
I have never had a spell given to me be my Divine or my Ancestors not work, and this spell was no different. I have created spells that were nothing-burgers, but Theirs are always so spot on.
Day One
After I got the first candle started and finished the prayer, my energy level started going through the roof. Physically. Normally after performing a spell I am pretty depleted, especially big spells. Since I wasn’t doing the actual weaving of the energies to create the path of my goal, The Mother was, I chalked it up to that but made note of it. By 2am though I realized that this spell is probably something that should be done in the morning, not late afternoon, as the insomnia was real.
Day Two
The second huge change came when I had to give class (the Death Emissary course ) I was doing the class Live, which meant public speaking. I have been public speaking for a good chunk of my adult life: teaching nurses, teaching in general, conferences, on tv, online, even TEDx. No matter how many times I do it though, I am always a bundle of nerves. The subject matter is always what I have lived and breathed, material I know like the back of my hand, but the nerves are always there anyway.
As the clock creeped closer to time to give the class, I waited for the nerves to pop in. I was being so focused on them that I was sure I would just manifest them at this point, but nothing. Nothing happened. I clicked into the class and just started moving.
After that I got the urge to just start recording a bunch of videos for TikTok and YouTube . Videos are even worse then speaking to crowds for me. This idea that it has to look polished, professional, fun, etc. I can spend a whole day on just making one because my nerves just settle in for the long haul…. But they didn’t show. I just started recording a bunch of different things and ran with it.
*Still didn’t take my Day One advice, did it in the afternoon and was just a ball of unstoppable energy – and the insomnia was real.
Day Three
Still no nerves. Still a ball of energy.
Some other things started showing up in my physical life that were directly linked to my intention. Real tangible, out-of-the-blue, results. Nothing huge, nothing big, but steps forward and some reward.
Day Four
This day was the day to call in the Guardians and light His candle.
The Guardians of the Temple are from Crane Tradition I added them to my work because I have a bond with them and they have one to my practice. They are both Elemental and Animal, Guardian of the spell but also enhance and weave Their own parts to the spell.
The color Blue had been everywhere since the night before. It was constantly catching my attention and a feeling. So I adding in my effigy for Neptune (again Crane Tradition). The shape-shifter, the magic. Fitting, since His main role is magic.
The Physical world results, what my goal to manifest in the world, was still giving a little more each day. Not huge, but definitely things that have never happened before and “lucky.”
The ball of energy has not lessened or changed. Every time I get done with the prayer, I am super jazzed up. I don’t know what speed is like, but I am sure has to be similar to super speed.
I could feel this movement between the Divine Mother and the Father of Worlds. Her handing Him the path She created, and Him taking it to create the path in the physical world. During my “after channel” session with Them, I started getting all this information/ seeing more depth to Him and this next phase of work with Him.
He also started adding daily physical tasks to do.
Day Five
The heightened energy persists. Today He had me create His Seal that correlated with my intention. Lucky for me, a sycamore came down in our valley not too long ago and my husband cut me a bunch of wood disks out of it. For me, the Sycamore, at least here, is a symbol for Death and Rebirth. Our Turkey Vultures nest in them during the winter and those are my Birds of Death and Rebirth.
So I took one of the rounds and wood-burned His seal into it, and set it. Then I placed it with the spell working on my altar. (His Seals are also Crane Practice thus in the book).
A Turtle appeared on the porch, just walking by the sliding glass door in my witchy room. It was going slow and steady until it got to about the middle. Then it stopped, stretched its neck high and slowly turned to look at me watching it. It must have stayed there almost a full minute, then kept moving forward. We live in the woods on a lake, but turtles have never come on the porch before – and even if they had, the feeling, the energy with this was no doubt a sign. A sign saying, you have all you need – time to move it physically – physical action with it – keep moving forward, It is also a sign or prosperity, longevity, security, and the earthy elements – physical world. Yep, all directly linked to my intention.
Day Six
The last night of the Spell I Dreamed of Death, of the Divine Mother, the Lady of the Bones. I dreamed of the understanding of the beauty in Death, the Transformation that is Death. I remember walking for a long time with Her. Her talking, showing me things along the way. I do not remember the specifics, and that is ok. I know this kind of dream – everything She said is there, like a download, and as each piece comes up I will remember what She said or showed. It just works that way with Her sometimes.
As I started everything for the last day of work, I lit the clove incense and placed it in its usual holder at the edge of the altar. Normally it waifs out towards me, but not this day – it immediately went backwards and wafted towards Her and across the entire altar. It did this the entire time it burned. His action that day was to “intensify sacred sites.” Not just physical sites, but also what I carry with me – wearables tuned to Them – but really what I carry in my heart, thoughts, and actions. We forget sometimes that we are the sacred site.
After
The spell is over now but not the things that changed in me throughout the process. There were many outside/ physical world changes that occurred, directly linked to the goal of the spell. None were a “life-changing” change in the area of my intention, but they were the starts of the big changes. Each one building upon the other. Each one very noticeable, taking me another big steps forward, and easily measurable in reality. Things are just flowing in right now and growing, and it is amazing.
I was skeptical about doing this kind of spell. Not creating the components or weaving the path of the spell myself. Not seeing the exact steps and route of the path being created. Just completely surrendering that and just following instructions when They gave them (like the seal or adding a planet).
Once it was over I sat there for like a day. All the boons were flowing, the energy part has not lessened or ceased (kinda think this spell may have tweaked our bond a bit – because every time I do Her daily prayer I become the energizer bunny for hours and hours afterwards). I could have just let it ride and done nothing else. I tried the whole day to just let it be something that is done and moving on its own… the energy though, the need to do something, to touch it some way was eating at me.
So that is why the divination pathway at the end. It still shows me nothing of the work they did or what the spell is doing. No, this was more for me to structure or focus some of my own actions to help nurture it along. Something I can or should do to help it manifest quicker and stronger – but mainly just something I could participate in.
I am not going to tell you my goal for this spell but I will share my divination with you…
The Roles:
Me: Hierophant – the bridge, the connection, moving the physical with Voice.
Her: She is creating and clearing the path forward – remember compromise and alignment.
Him: Brings success – creative and professional realizations (it has been doing this in spades)
First Set: Fire: What I feel
See the Queen of Swords (Voice)
Be seen (see myself as) as the High Priestess (take the role and serve – stop trying to lower yourself)
Receive your rewards but plan carefully how to them – careful of negative ego
Second Set: Earth: What I do
It takes time to change an illusion – it takes time to alter other people’s perceptions
As Ruler, you have already put it out there. Now is the time to evaluate adequately the gains and not be afraid of the losses
Guard for Security and Justice, but do not be cold or rigid. (Know what needs to be guarded/ held sacred, but do not pigeon-hole it for others)
Third Set: Air: Think and Speak to Nurture and Heal
Enchant the Triplicaties into the world – Hers and His – Her, Him, and You (human)
Stabilize the inner labyrinth (within yourself) – simplify it
Change is vitally necessary for success
Fourth Set: Water: Be – Become
Knower, your cup overflows already with everything you need, with Knowing
Balancer: Pain and failures of the past are done, don’t look backwards
Weaver, Weave curiosity and deep reflection. Continue to study and dedicate your self to the path
I realize without knowing my intention you will not understand this, but it gives you a glimpse of what it is like in real practice.
In the End
In the end, this spell has been a great success and it is still growing – not by my energy but by Theirs. The divination gave me ways to feed into it, as well as, direction for my actions and work. This spell was for physical world results though, not just internal self – and it has been producing step by step.
I do wonder a bit at the mode as I look at the things going on in the wider world – but trust is key here.
I have done a lot of spells over the years for this specific goal to manifest in the physical world. Some yielded nothing, some yielded just the bare minimum – steady but not the goal, some were a powerhouse in my mind at the time – but nothing has come close to these results and it is still going.
The way this spell made me feel and what it brought in internally was also nothing comparable to any other spell work I have done. Instead of wearing me out, I have been bouncing off the walls with energy (still happening every time I do my daily devotional to Her). The power I felt while it was running was also super enhanced comparatively – it was such an incredible feeling and deep connections running – I just do not have the right words, but extremely different in a positive way. I have never experienced that in any kind of spell before. It was true wonderment and awe.
It was hard. Not in the doing aspect – I am used to long spells and daily devotions, so it was normal for me in that way. No, the hard part was giving over the control of how the would build the path and what the path would be. Not knowing the aspects/steps/cycles/patterns involved. This was a whole new level of trust on the magic side. When They have given things before it was always the “blueprint” of the path so I would see everything – with this I get nothing like that.
It is definitely a new mode of magic for me that I will be primarily using for physical/material/social world working – at least for now. The results were clear, measurable, and impactful. That is what spell work should be and give us, otherwise, why are we doing it?
