This is a little book of written prayers on difficult topics covering inner life, times of grief, difficulty, illness, marital problems, parenting, celebrations, and home and church. Prayers cover topics such  “For One Who Has Been Raped” to ” On Being Released from Prison” to “For a Child in Shared Custody” to “For the Unemployed.” A book like this is helpful, because in the most challenging or awkward of times, we struggle to find the words to pray. Such a book is a good aid to thoughtful prayer for everyone and worth giving to any pastor as a gift since it is pastors who usually find themselves faced with peoples struggling with these problems.
