EntreLeadership Book Review and Giveaway!

I’m excited to share with you a new book from Dave Ramsey. It’s called EntreLeadership and it’s designed to be a road map for entrepreneurs who want to develop in leadership while growing their business. With over 20 years of business experience, Dave Ramsey has become a respected voice in personal finance, especially in the area of debt management and budgeting. What makes this book different from all his other books is that it shares how his company (the Lampo Group) grew to what it is today. Dave is direct, to the point, and painfully honest in sharing what has and hasn’t worked in business.

I personally read the book and felt that both new entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners could find value in the experiences Dave shares. Like any book, there will be things that you’ve ‘heard before.’ Don’t let that keep you from finishing it! There’s always room for improvement within your business and learning from the experiences of others is usually the smartest (and cheapest) way to grow.

From selecting a business to hiring and firing staff, Dave is brutally straightforward in his book, but shares his wisdom with humility. That’s one of the things I like most about Dave Ramsey – he won’t sugarcoat the material. This book is no different and I appreciate how he delivers his message while interweaving his faith and Biblical wisdom.
