Resources | Financial Tools of The Trade

I thought it would be helpful to create a financial resources page that you can reference for your personal, business, or church finances.  It’s a work in progress, and will have new tools and features added as I learn about them – so keep this page bookmarked and visit often for the latest tools.

Please know that some of these links are affiliate links, which provides a small kickback to Faith and Finance if you decide to use them.  So you know, I don’t recommend products that I don’t use or trust.  I just want to be upfront about it with you out of respect.

Building Websites

Whether you’re starting a blog or building a site for your church, you can benefit from these resources just as I have with Faith and Finance.

WordPress – This is the ultimate platform on which you can build a blog.  We use it and so do millions of others because of its simplicity and reliability.

HostGator – I currently use HostGator for almost all of my websites, and after trying out 4 different webhosts, I highly recommend them!  You can use this coupon code to save 25% as well: “FAFinance25”

Elegant Themes – I use these templates for other sites that I’ve built.  Really beautiful themes and easy to use!

Thesis Theme – This is the framework that Faith and Finance uses.

Blogging Your Passion Webinar – If you’re considering the idea of starting a blog or if you’re wanting to take yours to the next level in terms of content, readership, and revenue, these online courses will help you tremendously.  Yes, I actually paid money to learn from experienced bloggers, and every bit of information has been worth every penny.

Email and Newsletters

MailChimp – Another email service that I’ve used that is free for users with smaller lists.  MailChimp is also simple and has great email templates for you to use.

Money Management Tools – I’ve used Mint for three years and have loved this tool from day one!  It’s easy to use and simple to keep track of where your dollars are going.  The best part is that it’s free!  If you’re having trouble managing your expenses, I’d highly recommend using
