Jared Leto Compares His Band to a Religion

Jared Leto, who will always always always be Jordan Catalano to this child of the 90s, has mostly given up acting to be a rock star in his band 30 Seconds to Mars. 30STM, as they’re known, has developed a hugely loyal fan base. In a New York magazine profile, Leto says “People form bonds at a church, at a bar, at work. It happens in Scientology, it happen in Catholicism, and it happens with us.”
