Billy Graham Website Down: “Mormonism Cult” Scandal Widens   (This article is one I’d like to share with you from ALTERNET: Posted by Bruce Wilson) On Thursday and Friday Billy Graham’s BGEA ran high-profile full page ads, in 2012 election battleground state newspapers, encouraging voters to support “Biblical values” – foremost among which, according to the ads, is opposition to same-sex marriage. Then, on late Friday, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association pulled the plug on the over-$75 million dollar a... Read more

Don’t get me wrong I could care less about Romney’s personal religious beliefs. It’s his foreign policy and how those Mormon “personal beliefs” may get people like my Marine son killed that scares me. The danger to our military families posed by having Romney in the White House comes from the fact that to be a good Mormon one has to be jingoistic and combative about foreign policy. So let’s pray Romney isn’t a good Mormon! Let’s hope he’s faking it!... Read more

And so it’s come to this: the American evangelical religious establishment is busting a gut to elect a pro-abortion Mormon multimillionaire predatory tycoon with multiple offshore bank accounts who may or may not have paid his taxes while protecting the money he’s made from “harvesting” American companies by shipping US worker’s jobs overseas. (Yes, he’s pro-abortion. Just check out what he actually did as a pro-choice governor in my state — Massachusetts — and wait for the reality check the... Read more

Here’s my talk/conversation/sermon I shared/did with Jay Bakker in NYC this last Sunday. I hope you find it interesting. Jay and my friend Vince run the Revolution church and I was their guest. I’ve been to the church before — they meet in a very cool bar in Brooklyn — and I always love my times there. LISTEN by Clicking HERE http://www.revolutionnyc.com/frank-talk-with-jay/ Read more

Note: This article was first posted on the front Politics page of the Huffington Post It’s not poor Mitt’s fault. Jesus could be the Republican candidate this year with Lincoln as his running mate and the Republicans would still lose. That’s because the American people don’t have a death wish. You see we may all wallow in our own delusional fantasy lands but we want sane leaders. I’ll explain. You might be a Christian like me who says he believes in... Read more

And yet, here I am telling my four-year-old granddaughter Lucy that God made the rock she just asked about. We’ve climbed up on this granite outcropping surrounded by water and reeds on the marsh overlooking the Merrimack Bay near my house. We’ve brought chalk to draw on the rock. Her arms are around my neck. It’s low tide and the small of the mud flats is wonderful, so alive!   I say “and yet” because there’s this internal conversation. “You... Read more

Here are 3 reviews/stories about the movie Hellbound? Did the editors of Christianity Today see a different movie?     New York Times “The number of documentaries about theological debates is fairly small, and the number of such films that manage to sustain interest is even smaller. Kevin Miller’s ‘Hellbound?‘ makes both lists.”   The Christian Post “There is ample time given in ‘Hellbound?’ to the opinion that ‘evangelical extremists’ perhaps peddle hell out of fear – not of fear that... Read more

Once in a while you’re handed a gift. I don’t like Christianity Today magazine, and as the gatekeepers of the evangelical establishment they don’t like me. But bashing people over the head when they give you a bad review sounds defensive and petty. So how sweet it is to be able to bash these keepers of the flame of second-rate Christianity over the head for bashing a friend of mine. Kevin Miller’s astonishingly good film Hellbound? is about to be... Read more
