“I have thoughts!”
The above declaration from the film Julie and Julia is the unspoken declaration of anyone who wishes to begin a blog. The part Julie did not say was, “I think they matter to other people.” I suspect that she harbored doubts about this one and let it slide.
I have decided to open this new blog by stating that my theological and religious musings may matter to some other people…even if they just get a good laugh from them. My role as a pastor requires my theology to have a practical point of view with Biblical emphasis. So, readers who are not familiar with their Bibles may wish to dust off their copies and loosen the spines a little before my next offering.
