Chasing Angels in Graveyards

I love graveyards, don’t you? Well, perhaps you don’t. I’ve talked to some people who find them depressing, but to me they’re wonderfully reflective, beautiful places.

My friend Kathy Hagood, a travel journalist from Alabama, discovered not only beauty, but romance, in a graveyard. Her story is featured on the Absolutely Alabama TV show (click on the link below; her story starts around the 2:00 minute mark):

Kathy and her friend Steve Kinney have roamed graveyards throughout the South–and as far away as Italy–for an exhibit of photographs now on display at the Evelyn Burrow Museum in Hanceville, Alabama. I’ve had some of my best walks with angels in graveyards. How wonderful that Kathy and Steve have recorded these creatures for the rest of us to enjoy!
