Tell me about London!

Here’s a request:

We’re looking at vacation options for 2016 (yes, I know it’s early!) and are considering a longer, combined-with-work stay in London.   The trick is that we’d have to find something to keep the kids busy, or maybe hire a part-time babysitter/tour guide.

Anyone have experience with the city?  (and thanks for your advice!)
