Satan Acts Like a Prowling Internet Robot

“Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.”
(Ephesians 6:11, HCSB)

I have noticed on my statistics to this blog a couple of referral blogs with names like: vampirestat, villianstat, adsensewatchdog, zombiestat, and uglystat. These websites (which I will not link on this page, nor will I share the full website), are spam bot websites. They form false visitors to your website. They make it look like you have more people visiting your site than is really the case. It is a scheme of a company to hurt your potential to reach more people through your blog.

I have to insert a file into this post to tell the Internet to stop sending these robots. You will see that file on the bottom of this post.

Satan works the way. He prowls around like an internet robot, devouring your influence.

“Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.” (1 Peter 5:8, HCSB)

He comes as an “angel of light”, but he has other ideas in mind with you.

“And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14, HCSB)

I have to protect my blog with “internet armor,” and the first step is to insert a file to protect against prowling internet bots. The way I did that was to go to a website which helps you generate code to insert into your blog post to tell other bots to leave you alone. You and I as Christians can do the same thing with Satan by standing up to him in prayer and telling him to go away.

I have since moved this blog to another more effective blogging platform. This makes the spam problem a lot easier to control. Moving closer to Christ, Who is a better spiritual platform will do the same thing with Satan.
