Being Involved in International Missions
“Then He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.” (Mark 16:15, HCSB)
I just returned from the annual meeting of the International Baptist Church Ministries (IBCM) at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas this weekend. This organization provides financial support to international English-speaking baptistic churches throughout the world, including churches associated with the International Baptist Convention (IBC). The IBC is involved in planting and supporting international English-speaking Baptist churches throughout the entire world.
I took my family to this meeting. We stayed at the Riley Center in guest housing, where the conference was held. We also took a day to enjoy the Fort Worth Stockyards.
I previously served as pastor at the International Baptist Church in Bremen, Germany for four years. My wife and I have become lifetime members of the IBCM. We still have a heart for international missions – especially English-speaking international churches.
The International Baptist Convention is always looking for good pastors, as well as interim pastors. The IBCM is also looking for people who can be involved in helping the IBC. Perhaps you would like to be involved? You can partner with these two groups in the work to share the Gospel with the entire world.
