Christian Life Process

Christian Life Process

Christian Life Process is a simple thought reflection on Ephesians 4:12 about how a Christian grows from a learner to a lender to a leader.

“for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ,” (Ephesians 4:12, HCSB)

The Christian life is a life-long process. This process goes through three broad and general stages.

  1. A Christian trains. This is a time to observe and LEARN. This part happens during the spiritual childhood.
  2. A Christian works. This is a time to LEND. A Christian learns to “lend a hand” and do the work of serving Christ. This part happens as a spiritual youth.
  3. A Christian builds up. This is a time to LEAD. A Christian learns to pass along this faith to other new Christians. This is part of being a spiritual adult Christian.

A Christian goes through these stages and enters the other side of Heaven complete. A Christian does not go through life alone. The Christian goes with others who are farther along the journey (evangelists, prophets, apostles, pastors, and teachers) and alongside other Christians. The Christian Life Process happens within the community of the church.
