Cutthroat Kitchen: Fast Food Edition

I hope @altonbrown from #CutthroatKitchen is reading this. I have been watching Cutthroat Kitchen since it began in 2013. Every Sunday evening after church I would come home and watch this interesting cooking show. The show works like this. Four contestants will cook dishes for a judge. During their cooking time, there are sabotages for which they can bid to use against their opponents. They get to use $25,000 to bid on these sabotages. At the end of the show, the one who wins gets to keep whatever money is left. The contestant shop for their ingredients in each round. The shopping time is one minute. The cooking time is 30 minutes. The sabotages are auctioned off during each round.

Alton Brown, with his wicked twisted mind, has used various themes to promote certain sabotages. Last night, he used a circus theme. The contestants made corn dogs, used peanuts for a food item, and then made funnel cake for dessert. He created sabotages such as the following:

  1. A ring of fire as the only heat source.
  2. A tricycle which a contestant ride throughout the competition.
  3. A trapeze which two contestants had to swing back and forth as they mixed their ingredients.
  4. A clown car from which three contestants had to prepare their food.

This gave me an idea. There should be a fast-food edition. Alton Brown should invite mascots from fast food restaurants to compete for charity. Here are my suggested contestants:

  1. Ronald McDonald
  2. Colonel Sanders
  3. Jack in the Box
  4. Wendy’s Mascot played by Morgan Smith

Alton should force them to make three items which are not on their menu. For example, a Mexican dish, an Italian dish, and German dish. He should purposely make it so that they have to cook fast-food items of which they would never cook. Here are my suggested sabotages:

  1. Kids-meal size kitchens
  2. Fast-food playground in which they have to cook
  3. Wearing a mascot costume
  4. Take away real ingredients and use processed chicken

This would be one show I would love to see.
