Newsworthy With Norsworthy: Heading Home

A few days ago, Leslie I announced the very bittersweet news that we were going to be ending our season of ministry at Highland, and I was going to go back to my hometown to serve as the Preaching minister at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to write a kind of open letter to Highland on here, talking about the great joys that we’ve had at serving the city of Abilene alongside this very unique and wonderful group of Christians.

It’s seriously hard to describe how greatly we are going to miss Highland and what a wonderful and different kind of church She is, but for the next several weeks, I’m going to give it a try.

But because this is a surprising (at least to me!) and unusual career move from the outside, I didn’t want to just write about why we were leaving, I thought it’d be easier to just share the conversation I recently had with my frenemy Luke Norsworthy.
