INNER CIRCLE: Giving and Receiving

INNER CIRCLE: Giving and Receiving

“Faith is receiving. Love is giving. No one is able to receive without faith, and no one can truly give without love. So we believe and we receive, and we give so we may experience love. Because anyone who doesn’t give with love doesn’t receive anything in return. Anyone who hasn’t received the Teacher (remains unchanged).” (The Gospel of Philip vs. 45-46)

Love is nothing if we don’t receive it. Faith works the same way. Until we receive something, we can’t give it away.

By receiving faith, we learn the value of receiving. We appreciate the beauty of acceptance. We soften our hearts. We soon desire that others receive the same pleasure of receiving and this inspires us to give love away, freely and without reservation.

Faith provokes love. Love entails surrender.

By giving love, we experience more love. By receiving love, we complete the circle.

Giving and receiving stimulate more giving and more receiving.

Because we believe, we receive. Because we love, we give.

The one who has received mercy gives mercy.

The one who has given love receives more in return.

The ones who refuse to receive remain the same. Their transformation is on hold until they open their hands.

Those who cannot give cannot receive. Those who cannot receive have nothing to give away.

Our eyes are opened when we can see the One who gives everything away.

We are transformed when we receive the Giver.

We are changed from the inside out when we give away all that we’ve been given.

Freely we receive.

Freely we give.

Freely we experience the presence of love within us and we become aware of the One who surrounds us.

As Jesus says, “All that I have is yours, and all that you have is mine.” (John 17:10)

Until we can say the same, we remain blind to the circle of endless love and eternal Oneness with the Source of all things.

Nothing is mine, and yet everything is mine, and yours, if we realize the abundance of love that is rooted in Divine connection.

Let those with eyes to see and ears to hear open them up to receive this beautiful truth of the perpetual flow of Divine love.
