March for Life Goes Virtual

March for Life Goes Virtual January 15, 2021

The annual rally and march held in Washington D.C. in January to protest the legality of abortion will be a virtual event this upcoming January 29th.  The march which gathers hundreds of thousands of people from all over the United States will be composed of a small number of pro-life leaders and other participants will be invited to participate online.

The organization that coordinates the march issued a statement today announcing that “in light of the fact that we are in the midst of a pandemic which may be peaking, and in view of the heightened pressures that law enforcement officers and others are currently facing in and around the Capitol, this year’s March for Life will look different.”

Not surprising, more and more events are being cancelled or modified as COVID infections and deaths continue to rise.  As unfortunate as it is that the March for Life will be different this year, between COVID and the unrest in Washington, I believe this is a good call.
