President Trump visited Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s casket today.
He got quite the response.
Donald Trump was greeted with jeers and boos on Thursday as he visited the late supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s flag-draped coffin in Washington.
The crowd at the bottom of the steps to the famous supreme court building near the US Capitol, gathered to honor the liberal justice as she lies in repose, had a seemingly visceral reaction as the president turned up.
The commander-in-lies got rounds of boos and “Vote him out!”
It’s no surprise since there’s no mistaking what the Notorious RBG thought of Trump.
Before the 2016 election that made Trump president, Ginsburg criticized him publicly, calling him “a faker” in one interview. Trump responded by writing Ginsburg’s “mind is shot” on Twitter. She later apologized.
To paraphrase Bart Simpson, “I apologize all the time without meaning it.”
I’m not one who usually believes in bringing rotten tomatoes to such events. However, if I thought Trump could be within throwing range, then I’d load up on beefsteaks (plum tomatoes wouldn’t do).
And now I wonder if I could make those boos and calls to “Vote him out” a ringtone?
