Embracing Healing and Hope: A Journey Through Domestic Violence Awareness Month**

Listen Linda’s and Luthers, as we step into Domestic Violence Awareness Month, it’s so important to shine a light on those voices that have been through the fire and come out stronger. One of those powerful voices is my girl, Bianca Revels. She’s taken her pain and turned it into a beautiful song of hope for all of us.

Bianca’s journey started with a struggle that wasn’t just about what was happening around her, but also what was going on inside. She opened up, saying, “I became addicted to people pleasing, molding myself to seek validation from others.” That need to feel accepted led her down a rough path, bringing addiction into her life. But she found a deep truth: “Drugs and alcohol broke me down to the point where I had nowhere else to look but up, and that was to God.”

Now, as a mother, Bianca’s past shapes how she raises her son, Aiden. She knows the importance of being there for him, sharing her struggles openly, and building that strong bond of love. “I believe that by not hiding my sickness and sharing the dangers of what I was facing, that’s what made my son and I the closest.” That honesty creates a safe space for Aiden, allowing him to understand his mama without fear.

Bianca’s faith has been her rock through all the storms of life. “Every day I’m in the Bible early in the morning,” she says, showing how her relationship with God guides her through. This spiritual strength helps her see the blessings in her life instead of getting caught up in the worries.

Creating a nurturing environment for Aiden is all about love, prayer, and forgiveness for Bianca. She’s grateful for her own parents who support her and her son, showing that healing is a team effort. “There is no guidebook when it comes to parenting, the only book I rely on is the word,” she shares, highlighting how her faith helps her navigate motherhood.

When it comes to tough conversations about her past, Bianca keeps it real and age-appropriate. She’s got this open-door policy where they can talk about anything. “I practice love-based understanding,” she says, showing that communication and love go hand in hand in their relationship.

Balancing her dance career with motherhood hasn’t been easy, but Bianca knows her priorities. “I chose to go with God,” she says about stepping back from the spotlight, emphasizing that her son comes first.

Her time on *So You Think You Can Dance* opened up a world of opportunity, but it also came with a lot of pressure. Looking back, Bianca is grateful for those experiences that shaped her journey. “It truly changed my life,” she reflects, and now she’s using her voice to uplift others who might be in similar situations.

To all the parents out there dealing with domestic violence, Bianca has a powerful message: “It is never worth it to stay just because you have children with someone, especially when you are being abused.” She encourages folks to seek God and prioritize their safety. Her story is a testament to the strength found in faith, love, and resilience.

As we honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month, let Bianca’s journey remind us that vulnerability is strength, and healing is possible. Through her commitment to truth and love, she’s not only transforming her life but also inspiring others to do the same. Together, let’s create a community of support, empowerment, and healing.
