Dear Patheos community,

My name’s Miriam Ava and it’s a joy to welcome you to Luminous Living!

This is your hub for all things vibrant health, divine flow, green beauty, scrumptious food, and sexy sustainability. Look forward to thought-provoking articles, inspiring interviews, and practical tools to up the glow of your life.

You may know me as the founder of ColorsofGratitude.com, the blog about the beauty of life, as well as a contributor to The Huffington Post. Colors of Gratitude’s been the fertile soil of my ever-evolving work and I invite you to explore it. A cosmopolitan and writer at heart, I love to travel and feel the textures of the world on my skin. I hold a PhD in American Studies and currently live in the Big Jolly Apple. And I make supreme superfood hot chocolate.

I’m devoted to the earth, animals, kindness and courage. I love organic food and dream of a biodynamic garden. I adore honest humans. Nature is my church, my body is my temple, gratitude my foundation.

So what can you expect from Luminous Living? I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to enrich Patheos’ wellbeing offerings by digging deep and wide into health and mindfulness, and to connect the fibers of our being with the field of the divine. You cannot thrive fully if you aren’t plugged into source, whatever frame of reference that constitutes for you. We’ll be talking angels and energy medicine, superfoods and Gratitude Food, divinity and daily tasks (and how they’re related), and, most of all, how we can ground our lives in heavenly luminosity.

I’m very much looking forward to our radiant ride!

Much love,

Miriam
