Hypocrisy Alert: Prominent Gun Control Activists who Have Armed Security to Protect Them March 26, 2018

This weekend, many marches against the 2nd Amendment were held across the nation, and the fawning press showed up in droves to show America just how powerful the anti-gun activists actually are.  (Just like they did when the pro-life activists showed up in Washington, D.C. to show their pro-life fervor.  Oh.  Wait.  Never mind.)  Anyway, RedState had a great rundown of all of the anti-Second Amendment activists who are getting so much great press…  and it turns out they are actually fine with guns.

As long as those guns are protecting them.

Shannon Watts

Activism: the founder of “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense” (combined forces with Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group.

Hypocrisy: Has drivers and armed security personnel to protect her from “people on your side of the debate,” who “threaten our lives.”

The “March For Our Lives”

RedState reports that “Photos and video from the march shows a high level of police presence, with many uniformed officers visible in photos (and presumably, additional undercover police in plainclothes) plus road blockades, security fencing, and military vehicles.”

Amy Schumer

Activism: She is advocating for tougher gun laws and restrictions.

Hypocrisy:  Even though she doesn’t want people like you and me to have guns, she has plenty of protection.

“Do you have increased security at your shows now because of it?” Lena Dunham once asked her. “Because people are so f***ing nuts.”

“Yes,” replied Schumer. “Security is up. I’m really trying to protect myself. I am not being an idiot.”

Kim Kardashian

Activism:

Hypocrisy: She and her husband Kanye probably don’t go anywhere without armed security.

The examples could go on and on.

I’m fine with people protesting and getting politically active, but the arrogance and hypocrisy of the gun grabbers knows no bounds.
