In this month’s issue of bitch magazine, I interviewed author Jennifer Heath about her book The Veil: Women Writers on its History, Lore, and Politics. I did a review of the book for MMW here. Heath is also the author of The Scimitar and the Veil: Extraordinary Women of Islam, which I really enjoyed.
