Don’t just direct your wife. Stand on her until she submits. It is for her own good.

The humor in a staunchly anti-gay gentleman titling his Christian guidebook “Meat for Men” wasnt lost on me.

  • Since NLQ started posting his “Meat For Men” the posting have gone from Porterhouse steak-sized to itty-bitty Slim Jim sized. Always one sentence now that makes zero sense. Really, what does he mean by that? Without context it’s just crazy-town every time instead of bits and pieces being crazy-town occasionally.

  • Oh yeah, sounds just like a title for a gay porn movie.

  • Wow, I clicked the link, and that really is all he says. What does he mean by it? Who knows?

But if he means to never treat anything casually– not even things that should be treated casually– then that’s the recipe for nit-picking, micromanagement, and madness.

His wordplay really needs work. This is not amusing or insightful, it just sits there.

There does need to be more context. I am assuming, and could be assuming very incorrectly, that he is referring to casual relationships between the opposite sexes. Dobson and various other far right conservatives discouraged married men and women from having relationships with the opposite sex, including going out to lunch, because it could possible lead to an affair. I was so careful not to have any kind of relationship with my “brothers in Christ” that I didn’t feel very human. Just because people are of opposite sexes doesn’t mean they will be attracted to each other or that they will have an affair. Another case of the fear, paranoia, and stuffing of feelings encouraged by fundigelicals.

  • What is this talking about? It makes no sense!
