Everyone who is not a fundamentalist knows that you can cherry-pick the Bible to come up with some of the strangest things, to support just about any position. Mostly it’s the most extreme folks in faith that tend to do that.

    LOVE IT! I have discussed this with several Biblical literalists. I have been told that Christ’s sacrifice means that many – but not all – of the Leviticus rules are no longer in force. The thing is, they all seem to have different copies of the memo listing which rules no longer apply.

    I’ve asked to see a copy of that memo, to no avail. I hate it when important documents get lost, don’t you?:)
